Barbecue sauces are an essential part of the American BBQ experience. Here we walk you through the different ways of using sauces to make your fish, pork, beef, poultry and veggies taste great.
Glazes give you that sweet & sticky finished coating. They are brushed on to meats as it cooks however, they are applied toward the end of cooking to create a shiny coating. Most Glazes contain sugar, which caramelizes during the cooking process, creating a sweet, sticky crust. You don’t want to apply them too early, because the sugar will burn and give you a bitter taste. So wait until the final 5 minutes before applying several coats to the grilled meat.
A finishing sauce is brushed on at the end or after cooking to keep it moist and add an extra layer of flavour. In BBQ this usually means basting your ribs, chicken, beef, pork, or whatever is on the grill or in the oven, the final 5 minutes before you serve them. This helps set the sauce into a glistening coating.
Use your sauces as a Dip on the side; hot or cold. Many of our sauces are used as ingredients in pizza, shepherds pie, stews, meatloaf, salad dressings and the list go’s on. Let your imagination run free.
Kansas City BBQ Sauce
A mild sauce with just a little Cayenne, for a tiny kick. The base flavour is Apple with cinnamon and clove. It is a BBQ sauce, it can be used on all the same things as the California. It just has a really nice “wee” kick. Excellent on Pulled Pork.

Nuclear Chipotle Hot Sauce
A Real TEXAS BBQ sauce with 5 different chilies, guaranteed to get your attention. With the smokiness of the Chipotle chili, along with the fire of Harbanero and Cayenne. Use with Beef, Pork, Poultry and Fish. This sauce is designed to compliment your food, NOT destroy your taste buds.

California Mild BBQ Sauce
A mild sauce with NO chili’s. The base flavour is Apple with cinnamon and clove.
It is a BBQ sauce, to be used at the finish of grilling, as a marinade that is lightly brushed on, as a pour on/dipping sauce or as your base sauce in an oven. Great on Burgers, Ribs, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Chicken or Sausages.

Texas Chipotle BBQ Sauce
A truly TEXAS BBQ sauce, with the smokiness of Chipotle chili, caramelized onions, tomato’s and coffee. This has 3 different chilies and has a MEDIUM heat/kick from them. Brush it on to your brisket or steak as a marinade.
Use with Steak, Brisket, Burgers and Sausages.

Florida Mandarin Orange BBQ Glaze
This sweet & sticky glaze is just the perfect Mandarin flavoured coating to finish off BBQ’d prawns, chicken, baby back ribs, pork filets, duck breast or goujons. Use it as the base for a exciting salad dressing. It does have a medium kick from the Red Chili flakes, but, its not fiery or extremely hot.

Oregon Blazing Raspberry BBQ Glaze
A sweet, sticky Raspberry BBQ Glaze for Chicken, Duck, Pork ribs, Pork filets, Fish and Vegetables. This Raspberry Glaze with a small kick, continues to put smiles on the faces of everyone who discovers it. If you don’t Grill, then use it in the oven or in the pan, it’s fantastic with goujons!

South Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce
This is a MUSTARD BBQ sauce from the South. It has the kick of a good English Mustard, a bit of good Irish Stout, some tomato and spices.
Traditionally used with Pulled Pork, it also goes well on roasted Chicken, Gammon, in potato salad or just as a condiment on sandwiches.

Buffalo Wing Damn Hot Sauce
A Very “Hot” sauce, for Buffalo Wings specifically, but very good on wraps, sandwiches or added to stews & soups. We recommend that you first coat your chicken wings with one of our RED DOG Dry Rubs and then cook them really Crispy. Add the Damn Hot Buffalo Wing sauce and serve with a blue cheese dipping sauce and celery sticks to help cool the fire!
